Erin Cecil is a multi-disciplinary artist.

Through her photography, she seeks to document both the failings and graces of humanity, to maintain connection with the natural world, and to transform the intricacies of light into inquiry and revelation.  She shoots by instinct and serendipity, patiently waiting for the sparks of the moment to light up as the shutter clicks.

Erin's love of the tactile process of developing and printing from film extends into her silver work.  A conversation between materials and maker, and sometimes recipient, results in jewelry infused with intention, empowerment and one-of-a-kind beauty.

She also makes collages, just for fun.

Erin is currently living in Houston, Texas.
